The Southwest Key Quality Assurance Specialist (QA Specialist) will monitor and assess SWK programs for state licensing compliance and the program’s ability to ensure the safety and health of program clients, ages 0-17. The individual in this role will maintain a program caseload and will work with program management and staff on-site to identify issues and incidents to facilitate enforcement and adherence with corrective action plans. Reporting to the QA Manager, and to the Office of the CEO, the QA Specialist will audit, monitor, and analyze programs, case files, incident reports, and other data and systems for quality of services and care assessment, as pertains to the requirements set forth by state licensing for high-quality child health care and safety
Must be able to read, write, and communicate. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to bend, lift, seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hand or hands. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
