  • Job Summary:

    Working closely with Client Services Representatives (CSR), Child Care Tech provides technical and programmatic support for child care services.  Duties include tracking customer activities, tracking absences, processing of required program documentation, file maintenance, assisting in program orientations, customer follow-up, and data entry.

    Essential Functions:

    • Provide technical and programmatic support CSRs
    • Communicate follow up, parent changes in eligibility information, reporting, and activity tracking to CSRs
    • Follow up with parents on job search activities, etc., and track parent’s job search progress
    • Track absences of children
    • Accept and review applications for child care and enter information into TWIST
    • Accept change information from parents and enter non-eligibility information into TWIST
    • Generate and process letters such as appointment, recertification, absences, etc.
    • Conduct electronic and paper filing
    • Knowledge of agency personnel and office policies and procedures.
    • Disseminate information regarding available services.
    • Assist in the management of client files to ensure compliance with TWC policies and procedures.
    • Assist in the input and management of client waiting lists.
    • Monitor the wait list applicants and remove off wait list if necessary.
    • Gather all required file documentation for monitoring and audits.
    • Assist in the management of complaints from vendors and parents.

    Other Functions:

    Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    High School Diploma with 3 years experience.  Possession of a Child Development Associate Credential may be substituted for a required year of experience.

     

    Certificates and Licenses Required:

    A valid Texas motor vehicle operator’s license and reliable means of transportation

    Work Environment:

    Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and local travel, including exposure to heat, cold, inclement weather conditions, and occasional environmental hazards
