  • Job Summary:

    The Regional Executive Director Coordinator will assist with the supervision of the Program Directors in the assigned region. Duties will include supervision, monitoring, evaluations, working closely with funding source(s), interacting with the agency corporate office and exploring new program opportunities within the region. All duties will be performed based on supervisory training, with minimal supervision. The Regional Executive Director Coordinator is directly supervised by the Regional Executive Director or designee. This position is subject to work overtime and be on-call.

    Essential Functions:

    • Gather and analyze data from programs for report completion.
    • Complete observations of program actives and report findings.
    • Assist in Aloha review and submissions.
    • Participate in departmental meetings.
    • Participate in program accommodation and finance calls and report issues to RED.
    • Direct oversight of region’s transportation team.

    Other Functions:


    • Assume the duties and responsibilities of the Regional Executive Director in his/her absence or as requested.
    • Attend all organizational required trainings.
    • Attend all regional meetings to ensure that up-to-date information is received and/or information of policy changes or practice are adhered to.
    • Travel as needed for trainings or conferences located within the U.S.
    • Maintain a safe, clean and hazard-free work area.
    • Develop and maintain productive relations with local, state and federal stakeholders
    • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • A combination of one of the following:
      • An Associate’s degree in a social service or related field, with a minimum of five years of direct child care experience and three years of supervisor experience in a residential environment.
      • A Bachelor's degree in a social service or related field, with a minimum of three years of direct child care experience and two years of supervisory experience in a residential environment.

    • Master's degree in social services or related field, with one year supervisor experience working with troubled youth.

    • Three to five years’ experience with SWK unaccompanied minor’s programs
    • Must possess a valid state driver's license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required by contractual agreement.
    • Required to work a flexible schedule
    • Cleared Tuberculosis test results
    • Bilingual in English/Spanish
    • Cleared drug test results (Texas only)
    • Flexibility and willingness to work irregular and long hours including evenings and weekends as the position requires on call rotation with Regional Executive Director
    • Maintain annual training requirements/licensure/certifications

    Physical Demands:

    Must be able to obtain Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification and First Aid Certification (CPR). Must be able to supervise clients indoors and outdoors as necessary. Bending, stooping, and lifting a minimum of 15-25 lbs required to complete daily tasks. Job requires extended periods of sitting; use of various office equipment.

    Work Environment:

    Ability to work a flexible work schedule is required dependent upon needs of the region and RED. The work is performed in a shelter setting which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In order to satisfactorily perform all job duties for this position, RED Coordinator is expected to be available to work at any time as directed by his/her supervisor.
