The ESL coordinator is responsible for developing an ESL curriculum and facilitating training to teachers in order to be able to enhance the teaching skills within the classrooms. ESL coordinator prepares course material and develops lesson plans that cover all aspects of the English Language emphasizing the development of four basic skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The ESL Coordinator keeps track of students' progress and customizes individualized plans for students with unique requirements. Moreover, the ESL Coordinator endures the delivery of the classes, ensuring innovative ESL teaching methods, finalizing with a review of best practices and areas of progress to ensure effective teaching strategies.

Must be able to obtain Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification and First Aid Certification (CPR). While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to bend, lift, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hand or hands. You must be able to lift 20 pounds.
General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use of workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
