The Mental Health Services Specialist will provide expert guidance and consultation on complex mental health cases. Collaborate with staff to assess the mental health needs of the population and develop tailored intervention plans. Conduct regular case reviews and provide ongoing support to ensure effective implementation of mental health services. Offer technical assistance to programs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of mental health issues and best practices in the field. Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance the capacity of staff in addressing mental health challenges among the population. Work collaboratively with the management team to develop and implement best practice models for mental health services. Evaluate existing mental health protocols and recommend enhancements based on evidence-based practices and industry standards. Establish a continuous quality improvement process to monitor and refine mental health services over time.
Preferred:
Must be able to drive and travel, as needed. Other requirements include daily use of various office equipment, frequent typing, and writing, as well as bending, twisting, stooping, climbing upstairs, and lifting up to 15 lbs. items that may be required to complete tasks. Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas.
General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, and involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at a workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
