The Business Services Consultant is responsible for developing business relationships with local employers; assisting Workforce Center customers (job seekers and employers) in identifying the most appropriate tools and resources available that match customers employment related needs; engaging employers and creating employment pipelines for job seekers; and, acting as a business service resource by recommending employment strategies that lead to employment opportunities.
Baccalaureate degree (preferred), plus a minimum three years of work experience in sales, recruitment, employment services, business services, marketing, outreach, and interviewing techniques. One additional year of full-time qualifying experience may be substituted for each year (30 credit hours) of the required education, up to 60 credit hours. Must have at least 60 college hours. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have own transportation to use in the performance of duties. Maintaining a professional appearance and attire is required.
