Job Summary:

 

Coordinate logistics for training, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant communication. Collaborate with the Director of Training and Content Development to ensure training materials are prepared and distributed in a timely manner. Facilitate training sessions for staff both in-person and virtually, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning experience. Adapt training content to the specific needs of participants, fostering an inclusive and interactive learning environment. Maintain accurate records of training attendance, feedback, and other relevant data. Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Support the implementation of compliance training initiatives, ensuring staff are knowledgeable about relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Collaborate with the Director of Training and Content Development to contribute to the development of training materials, presentations, and resources. Keep training materials up-to-date and aligned with best practices and organizational standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate training sessions for staff, both in-person and virtually, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
  • Adapt training content to the specific needs of participants, fostering an inclusive and interactive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, feedback, and other relevant data.
  • Assist in evaluating training effectiveness and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support the implementation of compliance training initiatives, ensuring staff and volunteers know relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Training and Content Development to contribute to developing training materials, presentations, and resources.
  • Keep training materials up-to-date and aligned with best practices and organizational standards.
  • Communicate training schedules, updates, and other relevant information to participants and stakeholders.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment, encouraging a culture of teamwork and shared learning.

Other Functions:

  • Develop and maintain project plans for new training programs, implement compliance training initiatives, and ensure staff know relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Must adapt to the organization's technological platforms and strategic changes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, social work, human resources). And two (2) years in coordinating and facilitating training programs.
  • Knowledge of youth, social justice, and trauma-informed care issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using training-related technologies and platforms.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Physical Demands:

Must be able to drive and travel, as needed. Other requirements include daily use of various office equipment, frequent typing and writing, bending, twisting, stooping, climbing upstairs and lifting up to 15 lbs. items that may be required to complete tasks. Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally and in writing to express and exchange ideas.

Work Environment:

General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but  may involve walking or standing for brief periods. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions.

Frequent computer uses at a workstation for extended periods. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
