Job Summary:

The Crew Laborer Supervisor is responsible for the management and coordination of labor crew activities engaged in maintenance, construction, demolition and/or overall appearance of a client location. All duties will be performed based on professional training and experience, with minimal supervision. The Crew Supervisor is subject to work overtime.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and Supervise crew working on construction projects, including framing (wood/metal), drywall, installation of windows and doors, insulation, caulking, weather stripping, concrete and masonry work, roof installation and repair,       interior and exterior painting, demolition and clean up.
  • Maintains all work sites in a safe, functional and presentable manner.
  • Ensures all equipment and supplies are accounted for at all times.
  • Responds to and delegates assigned work orders in a timely manner.
  • Procures supplies, material and equipment as needed.
  • Implements and documents fire safety procedures and regulations as needed.
  • Maintain tracking list or database for facilities issues
  • Updates client on status of pending work order and ongoing facilities requests
  • Oversees facilities items such as: set-up system for ongoing or routine maintenance to SWK facilities, but not limited to: sprinkler systems, fire systems, HVAC, security system. Fleet management for SWK and Green Energy vehicles.
  • Ability to oversee the work of other crew laborers

Other Functions:

  • Transport all appropriate equipment required for job to assigned work site.
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
  • Able to Supervise Crew and work under pressure

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A combination of one of the following:
  • More than five (5) years’ experience in construction, maintenance, landscaping, roofing service industries, and facilities management.
  • Formal maintenance training.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License and be eligible to drive.
  • Some Travel may be required
  • Must be good at taking charge, giving directions, and inspiring other people.
  • Is levelheaded under duress and pays attention to details.

Physical Demands:

Bending, stooping and lifting up to 20 lbs. required to complete daily tasks. Most activities include repetitive motions and can include overhead reaching.

Work Environment:

Work shifts are subject to change. Noise levels vary from moderate to intense. Predominantly outdoors, occasional indoor monitoring or activities. This is a fast paced environment with various sharp objects, hazardous materials and machines present and extreme temperatures. Involves walking and standing for extended periods of time.
