The Clinician is responsible for providing mental health screenings and counseling intervention services, as well as continually monitoring and documenting minors’ mental well-being and overall adjustment to the Unaccompanied Minors program. The Clinician’s functions are performed as part of a multi-disciplinary team and include development and implementation of minor counseling plans, facilitating referrals, transfers, and reunification planning. All duties will be performed based on education, training, and certified counseling experience within the social service and/or mental health fields. The clinician is subject to work extended hours, and to be on-call. #SWWR
The Lead Medical Coordinator (LMC) is responsible for guiding and ensuring the quality of clinical services, treatment, and/or interventions provided to Unaccompanied Minor’s (UM) in an assigned SWK program in collaboration with the Regional RN and contracted physicians. The LMC is devoted to overseeing delivery of medical care in Southwest Key program settings with the emphasis on disease prevention and health maintenance. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with State licensing, Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), and all policies and procedures implemented by Southwest Key Programs.
The Lead Teacher is a professional leader in organizing the Education Department in partnership with Program Director or designee. The Lead Teacher is responsible for curriculum development which facilitates instruction appropriate for students with a variety of academic competencies, backgrounds, skills, and learning needs. To design and implement daily instruction of all core subject areas to include: ESL, PE and Vocational Courses. The Lead Teacher is to promote a positive climate of learning and excellence where students have the opportunity to enhance their developmental growth. #SWWR
The Medical Coordinator is responsible for assessing, facilitating and monitoring all components of client medical services. This includes but is not limited to: Transcribing medical information, assisting with medical assesments, providing support to the Lead and Assistant Lead Medical Coordinators and/or Regional RN, developing reports, acting as a liason between SWK medical department and contracted Primary Care Providers (PCP) etc. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), state licencing, and SWK policies and procedures. #SWWR
The Certified Teacher is responsible for curriculum development which facilitates instruction appropriate for students with a variety of academic competencies, backgrounds, skills, and learning needs. The Youth Care Worker (YCW) is responsible for providing direct care supervision for youth residing in Southwest Key Programs (SWK) care fostering an environment that facilitates learning and behavioral management in a supportivemanner. The Youth Care Worker will maintain a flexible, organized, and efficient work schedule. #SWWR
