The Functional Family Therapist is responsible for providing, at minimum, weekly one-hour, home-based family therapy sessions to clients. The Functional Family Therapist must maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working hours other than regular work schedule and evenings, weekends and holidays.
The Home Study Worker is responsible for conducting home studies of prospective sponsors. For home studies, the home study worker assesses the sponsor family unit, evaluates the prospective sponsor’s ability to provide a safe living environment that meets the child’s needs, and educates and prepares the prospective sponsor for reunification with the child. The home study is conducted as a collaborative psycho-educational process in which the home study worker helps the client and sponsor identify areas where additional support, resources or information are needed to ensure successful reunification, and provides assistance with accessing needed supports and services.
The FFT Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing, at minimum, weekly one-hour, home-based family therapy sessions to clients. This position also provides clinical support and guidance to the Functional Family Therapists. The FFT Clinical Supervisor must maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working hours other than regular work schedule and evenings, weekends and holidays.
