The Assistant Lead Medical Coordinator (ALMC) is responsible for guiding and ensuring the quality of clinical services, treatment, and/or interventions provided to Unaccompanied Minor’s (UM) at an assigned SWK program in collaboration with the Regional RN, LMC, and medical providers. The ALMC is devoted to overseeing the delivery of medical care in colaboration with the LMC in Southwest Key program settings with the emphasis on disease prevention and health maintenance. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with state licensing, Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), and all policies and procedures implemented by Southwest Key Programs.
The Career Support Specialist provides participant support and conducts oversight and monitoring of the “Summer Earn & Learn” (SEAL) program, a subsidized work experience program for youth with disabilities. The Specialist will work up to 30 hours per week providing support to SEAL participants, monitoring participant and worksite activities, and identifying and resolving issues per SEAL standards and policies. This is temporary assignment lasting 8-12 weeks.

The Youth Specialist is responsible for engaging and recruiting out of school youth (OSY) to participate in workforce-funded youth activities and projects. The Youth Specialist works closely with center management and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) staff to identify eligible youth for an OSY Academy pilot project. The Youth Specialist oversees the delivery of career exploration, career assessments, career pathways planning, coaching, mentoring, professional and leadership development, financial literacy, internships, and work experience for eligible youth. Working with the WIOA staff, the Youth Specialist assists youth to obtain a high school diploma or GED, obtain marketable credentials and skills, and prepares them for secondary education, training, or employment. The goals for youth served are completion of a high school diploma or GED, secondary education or credentials, and employment at or above the prevailing wage for their chosen occupation.
